Why Creativity?

Having a solid Creativity Foundation is crucial because it serves as the bedrock for innovation and problem-solving across all areas of work.

Whether you’re tackling complex challenges, driving change, or striving for continuous improvement, a strong foundation in creativity enables you to approach any task with fresh perspectives and effective solutions.

  • From "What" to "How"

It's no longer enough to focus solely on what we do; we must shift our attention to how we do it. A Creativity Foundation equips us with the tools and mindset to navigate the "how" with agility, ensuring that we can adapt and innovate in an ever-changing world.

  • Creativity: The Skill of the Future

The World Economic Forum has identified creativity as one of the top skills for the future. In a rapidly evolving landscape, the ability to think creatively will be essential for staying competitive and leading the way in innovation.

  • Divergent and Convergent Thinking

Creativity thrives at the intersection of divergent and convergent thinking. A solid Creativity Foundation helps you explore a wide range of ideas (divergent thinking) and then hone in on the most effective solutions (convergent thinking), driving success in every endeavor.

  • The 18 Creativity Behaviors

Building a Creativity Foundation means embracing the 18 Creativity Behaviors that empower individuals and teams to unlock their full creative potential. These behaviors foster a culture of innovation, resilience, and continuous growth.

From 2 to you

What started with two PhD students falling in love with creativity turned into a serious relationship with a huge community and several well-known partners across industries.

The founder of one of them is a huge inspiration to us. Werner von Siemens is a great example for someone who practiced his creativity each and every day and thus became a creative genius.

Studying the key mechanics of this meta skill and experimenting with it, we were able to identify 18 core behaviors of creativity. All that we do is based on these behaviors because they explain why some people are more creative than others. We made them accessible and developed in-depth formats and programs translating this profound knowledge into practice. Because that’s what makes the difference in the end.

Behavior Clusters of Creativity

There is no single, easy process that can just be applied to be creative. Instead, creativity is a complex skill made up of a set of behaviors. The more often you demonstrate these behaviors, the greater the chance of coming up with creative ideas and solutions. The 18 creativity behaviors can be divided in five clusters:

  • Perceiving

Means observing things around oneself empathically and making full use of all senses.

  • Rethinking

Means asking questions out of curiosity to better understand problems and rethink the status quo.

  • Cultivating

Means sharing one’s problems and ideas and being open to the ones of others, no matter how strange they sound spontaneously.

  • Ideating

Means giving oneself time to incubate and having confidence in one’s own imagination.

  • Sensemaking

Means combining alternative ideas into a stellar creative one by playing around and experimenting.
