Accessibility information for creativity-lab.xyz
Created and last reviewed: 9 September 2026

Our website and services

Creativity Lab aims to make its website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement covers creativity-lab.xyz.

The website presents creativity training, workshops, consulting and keynotes. It also provides articles, creativity tools and podcast content. Visitors can explore the offers and use the contact options to ask questions, request information or discuss participation and booking. Our offers primarily address companies and their employees; participation by private individuals is not categorically excluded.

Applicable requirements and our approach

Where an online service falls within the scope of the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), the BFSG and its implementing regulation (BFSGV) apply. This includes services in electronic commerce provided at a consumer’s individual request with a view to concluding a consumer contract. A mainly business audience does not by itself exclude these requirements.

The relevant requirements include making digital information and functions perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. This covers clear text and structure, sufficient contrast, keyboard access, meaningful labels and compatibility with assistive technologies. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as a technical orientation for improvements. This is an improvement target, not a certification or a claim of conformance.

Current accessibility status

The website is not yet fully accessible. An internal review and technical improvements were carried out on 9 September 2026. The review covered representative pages across the home page, contact and offers, About, blog, Success Stories, Creativity Myths, MUSE, the Creative Behavior Test, the glossary, the three Painpoints pages, Imprint and this statement. It included page structure, browser accessibility information, selected colour contrast checks and keyboard tests. Selected pages and navigation were also checked at a narrow viewport of 320 CSS pixels.

This is not a comprehensive WCAG or EN 301 549 audit. Full compliance with the applicable accessibility requirements has not been verified.

Improvements implemented

  • Navigation and links: the header logo, linked animations, recommendation arrows and blog thumbnail links have descriptive accessible names. The navigation submenus support keyboard operation, and blog articles have a working skip-to-content target and main content landmark.
  • Structure and readability: selected heading hierarchies and text/button contrasts have been corrected. German podcast text blocks are marked with their language.
  • Forms: the interest selector is connected to its visible label; name fields support appropriate autocomplete. The selected interest is associated with the field description.
  • Motion: automatic carousel movement and entrance effects have been disabled. The home background video has a keyboard-operable Play/Pause control. It plays automatically unless a reduced-motion preference is active. The changing About headline has its own playback control and starts paused. Reduced-motion preferences are taken into account by the added controls and styles.
  • Creative Behavior Test: users choose when to continue to the next question. The result includes a text table of all five scores alongside the chart, with focus moved to the result.

Known barriers and limits of the review

  • Audio and video alternatives: a complete, verified set of captions and full transcripts is not yet available for the website’s videos and podcast episodes. Required descriptions of visual information have not yet been comprehensively assessed. Episode summaries do not replace full transcripts.
  • Further verification: testing with screen readers, all form error and success states, all dynamic tools, documents and external media services, and the complete range of zoom and device settings remains outstanding. The selected checks do not establish accessibility of every page or interaction. Additional barriers may exist.

A confirmed completion date for the remaining media work and comprehensive verification is not yet available. If content is inaccessible to you, please use the contact options below to report the barrier or request assistance.
